An ordinary smartphone cannot provide a complete eye examination. Retinal conditions, glaucoma, and problems requiring specialist equipment are outside this initial screening scope.

Is Retinexa a replacement for an eye doctor?+
No. Retinexa is intended for screening and triage, not diagnosis. A qualified eye-care professional can examine your eyes, confirm a diagnosis, and advise on treatment.
Can I use the app right now?+
Not yet. This is the Retinexa introduction website. The Android and iOS app, along with its supporting API, are planned for the next version.
Will I need a special camera?+
The initial app is designed for an ordinary smartphone camera, with guided positioning and image-quality checks. This does not replace specialist imaging or clinical equipment.
How will the complimentary tests work?+
The planned welcome offer includes two tests for eligible new account and device combinations. After those tests, individual purchases and subscriptions will be available, with pricing announced in the app.
What happens if my photo is unclear?+
The planned capture flow checks image quality before analysis and asks you to retake unusable images. Images rejected at this stage will not use a test credit.
